East Timor. John Howard and Denis Burke have their
say about East Timor gas and oil in an NT News article.
The NT reporter questions the secrecy of the deal without
exploring the significance of that secrecy. PARIAH - People
Against Racism In Aboriginal Homelands assume that task.
"TIGHT LIPPED" DIRTY DUO DON "VEIL OF SECRECY"

As you can see for yourself - Australian leaders are primarily
concerned for the well-being of the East Timorese people and
the benefits this project will bring to their war ravaged
country.
In Australia we had a Royal Commission (Inquiry) into the
Tow Truck business. One practice that attracted a great deal
of censure from the Australian Public was that of
forcing accident victims to sign legally binding documents
just after a traumatic and sometimes tragic incident.
In this instance, Tow Truck drivers responsible for the victim's
carnage and trauma, are signing the documents.
People in East Timor are still without basic infrastructure
- housing, schools, hospitals, utilities, transport and an
Independent East Timor Government - but Australia can build
a 500km underwater pipeline and attendant infrastructure in
four years?
How long would it take to errect 500 prefabricated buildings
if there was money to be made and it wouldn't diminish the
Oil Companies leverage over a shattered society?
Why is it possible to hold an independence referendum when
a country is occupied by invaders, but impossible to elect
an interim democratic Government when the country is 'liberated?'
The job of concealing the racist exploitation of indigenous
people and land, responsible for the plight of Australia's
Aboriginal people, just becomes harder and harder.
The Aboriginal Art in the background does absolutely nothing
for these hypocrites' credibility.
Secrecy is the shadow of racism in Australia.
