PEOPLE AGAINST RACISTS INTERPRETING AUSTRALIAN HISTORY
People
sick of C.L.P. "grubs!"
Shane
Stone, ex-Chief Minister and "author" of the Country Liberal Party's mandatory
sentencing laws, believes the death of an Aboriginal child in custody is one less
"grub." Stone directs a company
which has a 2.5% share ($70,000) in the Timor Lodge Hotel in Dili.
Letter of 'Rebuilding
Watch' to Xanana Gusmao and Sergio de Mello, Dili, 11 December 1999(extracts).
"The businesses
carried out by these foreigners includes prostitution (visibly seen in Hotel Dili
and Timor Lodge) drugs, alcohol and paedophilia."
"These businesses
are employing local Timorese at $5 a day, while making a profit of around $25,000
a day and up to a million per month tax free."
"These businesses are
not only taking advantage of our people and the situation in our country but also
did not contribute to the independence of East Timor. In fact some were and still
are partners (or have connections) with Indonesian military and other government
officials responsible for the killings and destruction in our country." Ofelia
Napoliao, Rev.Arlindo Marcal, Maria Bernadino, Orandina Cairo Alves. REBUILDING
WATCH - BA DIREITO POVO TIMOR LORO SA'E
Stone
and the present Country Liberal Party strongly supported the Suharto regime and
the Indonesian occupation of Timor Loro Sa'e. People who collaborate with oppressive
military regimes and exploit their victims are grubs - not the Aboriginal kids
who suffer the racist policies of these grubs.
