"WATTO's" SICK REPLY

The serendipitous nature of the PARIAH campaign continues to amaze me.

I finished writing Letter To The Editor - NT News Incarceration 8a at about 5am in the morning of November 18, 2000. The article mentions 'a local bigwig' named Maddalozzo infamous for "bulldozing the camps of people like myself."

At about 12-30pm that day, I received a 'phone call from a friend who told me my home on the Cox Peninsula had been bulldozed. He'd received the bad tidings from another friend, who had in turn been informed by the Town Clerk of the Cox Peninsula, Graham 'Watto' Watson. I contacted the person Watto had initially informed and he verified Watto's continued ugly involvement in my life.

Friends confirmed a wall had been smashed down and (at least) a water tank stolen.

This cowardly, racist, lying individual is the same person who approached the Australian Communications Authority to have us removed from our home of (at the time) seven years, because I complained of the racism he and the Council he runs, are trying so desperately (and unsuccessfully) to conceal.

When that failed (Watto was too stupid and too eager to realize we were not on the ACA lease) the Dept. Land, Planning and Environment issued us with a Trespass Notice (six weeks later) which led to my eventual imprisonment the day after a political action.
All due to this sick little egomaniac and his sick little Council.

Our mango and paw paw trees and the vegetables we grow for food are all dead because of Watto and his water tax (introduced after I complained of the racism on the Cox Peninsula) which I will never pay.

In 1999 - PARIAH's Secretary, Fiona Clarke was arrested and imprisoned for CRIMINAL DAMAGE allegedly for putting up PARIAH posters - on the basis of a complaint by Watto, who didn't actually witness it.

Will Watto be spending time in a cell?

He had motive. The Watto poster he can't reply to in any other way.

He had opportunity. He knows we were absent.
He must also explain how he knew of the damage. He claimed he'd heard a rumour. Watto just had to gloat.

I hold Watto personally responsible and I want him charged and thrown in a cell just like PARIAH members were.

The extent of the CRIMINAL DAMAGE - compounded with home invasion and theft - is far more serious than putting up posters. The evidence against Watto and the seriousness of the crime are (by NT Police standards) enough to see him imprisoned.

By the way the charges against Fiona (and myself) were dropped.
