I'll get the other Oz imc pages up when I can - enormous ammount of race/hate posts to sift through - years of them - hosted by people who censor any dissent about their autocracy

Re: [EN] [SP] Re: [Imc-aotearoa-ed] Deadline for objections to NZ indymedia protest page has passed [EN] (El español sigue, traducción automática) Hi all, Speaking for Aotearoa Indymedia: This is just a quick note to clarify. Contrary to Mick's assertion, the Aotearoa Indymedia editorial collective is most certainly not happy with Mick's completely false claim that Maori are not allowed on Aotearoa Indymedia - to the contrary, Aotearoa Indymedia is (slowly) moving towards being a bilingual (English and Te Reo Maori) Indymedia and we write extensively on the struggle for Tino Rangatiratanga (Maori self-determination). Speaking for myself: I would also make a request to Mick to please stop spamming the Aotearoa Indymedia newswire with abuse aimed at both the Aotearoa Indymedia editorial collective and other Oceania-based Indymedia collectives and individual members of those collectives. The Aotearoa Indymedia editorial collective has decided to delete all posts & comments related to Darwin/Arafura/Mick et al and further attempts to post such after being informed is nothing less than a sign of utter contempt for our collective and it's decisions. Mick has consistently slandered individuals and entire collectives for far too long. He seems to be quite willing to play various individuals/collectives off against each other, and unfortunately, too many people seem to get dragged in - this is not surprising, as it is hard enough for me to understand the situation having met many of the people involved, I cannot imagine how confusing it must be from a totally different perspective! Love
Reply Sat, 14 Oct 2006 Re: http://pariahnt.org/Oz-indymedia/pages/NZ-Aotearoa-racism.htm Not one factual rebuttal from asher - just further insults and bias from NZ imc - the people who hosted images of dead and battered Aboriginal people our collective worked with and cared about - to attack, provoke and distress our people http://www.pariahnt.org/onemiledam/index.htm There is a question mark after - "No Maori people allowed?" The question remains unanswered - are Maori people members of any NZ collectives? What asher calls "spamming" is how we managed to get NZ's race/hate posts removed. We call it drawing attention to injustices. darwin indymedia received hundreds of hate posts daily for months - (as well as sydney and NZ's race/hate campaigns) - so spare us your hysterics. The campaign to destroy our collective has been hosted on Oz indymedia for years. We object to the use of Oz indymedia as a vehicle for misinformation and racism against activists. "Mick is a c__t" was yet another of the many newsworthy posts attacking me personally on NZ indymedia - a belief that asher continues to endorse with this insulting, accusatory whitewash
http://melbourne.indymedia.org/news/2006/09/123025.php darwin imc have never posted/hosted culturally inappropriate images with hate captions and threads against the NZ imc - why do that to us? We will not credit any accusations or decisions by an imc that has demonstrated its bias and "utter contempt" for our collective in such a disrespectful manner asher's inability to refute a single fact is damning http://pariahnt.org/Oz-indymedia/pages/NZ-Aotearoa-racism.htm as is
his inability to explain such biased and racist behaviour - on a site
that makes this claim Yeah sure... ...unltil NZ imc see an opportunity to attack a collective comprised of Aboriginal people (third of the pop' here) and anti-racism activists in Darwin darwin imc has always featured grassroots local events usually through participation and actions - and were operating out of an Aboriginal community when these race/hate campaigns began http://www.pariahnt.org/onemiledam/index.htm sydney hosted many similar race/hate articles for months as news articles and defended their racism until we "spammed" our protests http://melbourne.indymedia.org/news/2005/11/98524.php our site is down (second one gone) - hundreds of human rights articles are off the www - we have had no domain for two years your network refuses to explain what our collective have done - to deserve such punishment - or by what process our domain was seized, returned and seized again we have a right to know of what we are accused
http://melbourne.indymedia.org/news/2006/09/123025.php - save for adelaide imc
in the lowest and most culturally disrespectful manner
