Worn out - really hot up here and I did an all-nighter putting up a feature on darwin.indymedia.

So the last thing I needed as I curled up in bed at 5pm with my first meal for the day and a book - was trouble.

Phone rings: David Timber wants to see me as Stacy from Sydney imc and her entourage have just left the One Mile Dam community and she didn't appear to listen to anything he'd told her.

Couldn't put it off as David wanted to talk while it was still fresh in his mind. Fair enough. That's how oral reporting works.

Gulped meal - and drove to the most marginalised and neglected part of Darwin. A place I've lived in for ten months (two months in a tent) while running campaigns for the OMD mob.

Mindy wasn't happy - felt Stacy should not have been welcomed - but David is polite to guests - which explains why the threats and insults he suffered from Inder-Smith at One Mile Dam upset him so.

"At one stage David asked Inder-Smith, "Are you threatening me?"

Eventually David told Inder-Smith and Stuart that he did not want them at the meeting.

Instead of respecting the One Mile Dam community leader's request to leave, Inder-Smith threatened David telling him, "You're going to be sorry".

I was outraged by Inder-Smith's disrespectful behaviour and told him to go.

Inder-Smith repeated his "You're going to be sorry" threat and stated "You haven't heard the last of me" as the two NAP core members left. Other statements by Inder-Smith were basically in the same vein."

Our site was taken from us by perth imc because we refused to meet with these disrespectful, racist thugs after this ugly incident.

We'd expelled them - and perth imc had no right to dictate to us because perth were hosting our site. "Cyber-feudalism" dealt with that argument.

So I take some notes and later ring Stacy to see if she'll meet with me. "I'm scared of you" - she claims. I ask her why? And she says I threatened her - but when I ask "when" - she can't remember. I haven't. She is not scared of me as she claims - just unwilling to face someone she has wronged -- and determined to whiteant me while she's here. Good luck :-)

Nor did I threaten Allan of perth imc with a gun :-) -- I gave Allan an url to an incident where I'd been threatened with a gun to show him what I've been through and he got frantic.

My reply to Allan's hysterics was succinct. "...try the urls and stop making a fool of yourself"

Allan continued to make these claims until I promised to reveal the pertinent emails if he continued.

David told Stacy that perth and oceania had believed a load of lies about us and that they/she had told lies too.

David also told Stacy of Inder-Smith threatening and insulting him at his home - but Stacy didn't want to know. Not in her agenda.

She claimed lies are part of "free speech" - David replied "If you don't answer them, the liars win".

When I rang her later and said, "You know we were telling the truth now" - she said, "I don't know what's true". So much for respecting David's integrity.

- So why did Stacy bother coming up here?

Stacy came up here to discredit the DIMC - and myself in particular, because we have exposed her as someone prepared to lie and censor to get her own way.

Stacy claimed David had agreed to a proposal. I asked him while she was still on the phone and David said he hadn't agreed to anything.

David is not our collective voice anyway, nor did he know what Stacy was on about. After talking to her by phone I can see why.

David said, that was probably why she spoke to him the way she did. Nice Stacy.

David thought we ran our "own business". Well he is correct. And Stacy had no right to make demands to just some of our collective. David and Mindy described Stacy as "pushy".

- Demands from someone with no credibility

I'll try to lay out you the demands I gleaned from David and Mindy and from my conversation with Stacy. I found it hard to credit...

...it was all ultimatums. As though David's words were meaningless - a formality undergone and easily dismissed.

"If you want an imc" - "you must..." - was the common theme. It was really grating. Who does this person think she is?

2. We must apply to New IMC to get back our url.

No we mustn't. All of our collective are well known activists who shouldn't have to do anything because some expelled people lied. Stuart Highway and Viki were new members - but no New IMC for your chosen collective.

Nor was this demanded when we expelled Inder-Smith and Meyerhoff.

And by the way

Where are the sydney imc's activist credentials online? Who are you? And why should we listen to you? Your lies, rudeness to our Aboriginal members (I include sean of sydney imc) and bias against myself, leave you in no position to dictate terms to the DIMC.

3. We must involve more Aboriginal communities? When did you dream up that gem?

Are you for real? We do better than any other Oz imc - but we have been offline and held back due to people like Stacy who runs a site that hosts racist attacks on Aboriginal people. She lied about that too...

Dumb lie Stacy - as you hid the articles complaining of it - and stated in regard to the image - "That's us. That's how we work. You can call us sexist and racist all you like, but that's not going to stop us."

The OMD mob (transient) is made up of dozens of different communities. You'd know that if you listened to people instead of dictating to them. We travel to half a dozen communities regularly (medical and dialysis centres too) and David has country past Daly River. We all know people from different communities - we live here.

Your 'informants' NAP? They know little about whitefella affairs, nevermind Aboriginal ones.

People attend funerals and visit mob all over. I doubt there's a community we haven't mob on in the NT. Stacy just displays her ignorance of how things are up here.

...and no other Oz imc has shown our committment to Aboriginal involvement. We find this demand irrelevant, 'cheeky' and insulting.

No such demand was made when the expelled people were given our url due to their lies. And they'd just threatened Aboriginal people at their own home.

No demands were made at all. You were just happy to have a compliant bunch of poseurs, just like yourselves, running our indymedia.

In two months they managed a feature about themselves and heaps of that bureaucratic list stuff so beloved of Allan Boyd. Yet all your conspiring is done off list. So it's all just spin isn't it?

We put our stuff out on the net and you censor it instead of refuting it - You people are a joke.

We had two features up in 48 hours yesterday. Hard work if reported and researched properly. That involved extensive community involvement.

Another self-serving preconception from Stacy. Community support. Mine increased when I disassociated from NAP. Our members are highly respected in the activist community. Wanna dispute that?

- Insult to injury

Stacy has done her best to prevent the DIMC evolving. We are not putting full energy into the DIMC (meetings, publicity, recruitment, etc...) until our url is returned. So her 'suggestions' about wider involvement are just incredibly thoughtless/insensitive.

We still manage to do more 'real' indy reporting than most Oz sites.

- Personal vendetta

The condition Stacy failed to mention to me - but relayed to David and Mindy was that I had to go. Both David and Mindy commented frequently on Stacy's hostility towards me.

I heard that Stacy was very upset about Mick exposing her lies and bias. Well Stacy needs to take responsibility for her own actions - much like the people we expelled.

It's clear that such lies and bias make Stacy an unsuitable 'judge' (not an autonomous ideal anyway) especially when she ignored our collective's decision regarding the meeting and had her agenda/opinions mapped out before her incursion. This is called prejudice - from pre-judging.

You insulted David and Mindy by inferring you wouldn't be safe at their home if I was present. You insulted me. Deeply.

If you think you can cause trouble for me here - join the queue. Pity you lack any credibility as an imcer now - isn't it?

Apparently Stacy is an American who has been in Oz for seven years. I've spent more time than that fighting off rednecks out bush. Been in the NT 15 years. Was here in the 70's and 80's too.

You should be removed from the imc Stacy, for your insults, censorship, authoritarianism and lies about innocent people.

You do not dictate terms to our autonomous collective.

You have no 'authority' and less credibility.
